Proficiency in English

The language requirements for the CEMACUBE programme include one of the following test results:

  1. An International English Language Testing System (IELTS) test score of 6.5
  2. A Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) test score of 580 (paper-based)
  3. A TOEFL test score of 237 (computer-based)
  4. A TOEFL test score of 92 (internet-based iBT)

Since language competence is an important element, all universities of the consortium offer during this program English language courses to the CEMACUBE students.

Note that a copy of an authentic test certificate, no more than two years old, must be produced (after 2 years the tests are no longer valid!).

Exeptions:
Only two groups of students do not need to prove proficiency in English:

  1. Applicants that are a native English speaker and completed secondary education in any one of the following countries: Canada, USA, UK, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia
  2. Applicants that have completed their bachelor education in any one of the following countries: Canada, USA, UK, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia

PLEASE NOTE: We make no further exceptions to these rules. Students have to prove their proficiency in English if they do not meet either of the two requirements stated above.
