 We are ready again for your application for the CEMACUBE programme of September 2013 in October 2012.

All applicants must follow step 1-5 below:

1. Carefully read our selection criteria, found here

2. Fill in the PDF application form [after 1 October 2012 the Application form can be downloaded here]

3. Prepare an electronic application package, containing the following (see Summary below how to name the document files): 

• Completed PDF application form (please use Acrobat Reader X to fill in the form). What to apply for? On page 1 you can indicate what you are applying for (tick the boxes that apply to you): 1. CEMACUBE programme, 2. scholarship, 3. partial tuition fee waiver (tick this box if you are interested to follow the CEMACUBE programme with your own funding)
• Copies of certified documents of academic credentials, including diploma and diploma supplement (including a certified translation if these documents are not in English, French or German). If you do not yet have a diploma, you must provide us with convincing proof (i.e. letter from the university) that you will obtain your Bachelor (BSc) degree before the start of the CEMACUBE programme in September 2012
• Academic and professional CV
• Letter of motivation (very important). For more information, click here.
• A passport sized photo
• A valid copy of your passport. (If you do not have a passport, please provide an ID which contains your full name, birth date and photo).
• A valid copy of your English proficiency test, check the specific requirements here. Please note:  Always included a copy of your test results with your application. No need to send the scores to the university, but if you want to do so, please do not forget to include a copy of the scores to the Application Package. The TOEFL code University of Groningen, Department Admission is: 7191

  PLEASE NOTE: there are only two grounds for exemption from having to prove proficiency in English:

 (1) Applicants is a native English speaker and completed secondary education in any one of the following countries: Canada, USA, UK, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia or; (2) Applicant has completed their bachelor education in any one of the following countries: Canada, USA, UK, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia.
We make no exceptions to these rules. Students have to prove their proficiency in English if they do not meet either of the two requirements stated above .

Please NOTE: You can only send us your application package electronically by email (applications send by normal post will not be accepted!).

5. Send the PDF reference form [after 1 October 2012 the Reference form can be downloaded here], to at least two, but preferably three qualified referees, and make sure that they fill it in and send it to   This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , including  the name of the candidate in the title of the e-mail.
It is the candidate’s responsibility that all referee forms arrive before the deadline. Referees must send their reference forms to us themselves – the candidate is not allowed to do this.  

PLEASE NOTE:
 Only complete dossiers with completed application forms will be considered for selection. You will get 1 reminder email if any documents are missing without giving us an explanation for the missing document(s)! If you do not react to that email, we unfortunatly can not consider your application for selection.

Further, you are welcome to add extra documents with additional relevant information. Please check that you send all the documents required (with teh correct file name - see below) to us by e-mail to CEMACUBE email address. If you cannot send certain documents yet, please explain this in your application and indicate when we can expect to receive these remaining documents. This will avoid delays in the reviewing your application.

 SUMMARY

Procedure after application: 

After you have sent us your application package you will get a conformation email when we have read teh email and downloaded your documents. 

After the deadline, the next step for will be for us to select a shortlist of students who will be invited  to have an interview and to give a short presentation (both via Skype). 

For the non-EU (cat. A) students the selection will be taking place during December 2010 -January 2011, and for the EU (cat. B) students this will take place January-February 2011.

If you are selected for the shortlist, you will be invited for a Skype interview and PowerPoint presentation. If this is the case you will be informed by email one week before the interview will take place will information and instructions for the interview and presentation.

If you are not selected for an interview, you will be notified by email in the same week as the selected students will get an invitation for an interview.
